thicc sticc is an early-stage personal care brand. Our mission is to inspire comfort and confidence for all thicc individuals.
As children, we witnessed our grandmothers sprinkling baby powder on their chests and thighs to combat boob sweat and thigh chafing, leaving a white mess everywhere. Fast forward thirty-plus years later, and we are still in need of a personal care solution that works and doesn't force us to sacrifice looks for utility. Current solutions like deodorant and baby powder don't dry clear, leaving white residue on darker complexions as well as on the clothes. For the beauty-conscious person, that isn't cute!
Our products are designed with all complexions in mind by incorporating clear application that doesn't show on skin or transfer to clothes. thicc sticc promotes comfort and confidence, so you can embrace the thicc without the ick!
THE
FOUNDERS
Founders Hana Pugh and Ashley Crowner have been friends for almost 30 years. They have journeyed together through childhood, adulthood, motherhood, and all the hoods in between! Both women have a creative entrepreneurial spirit and shared passion for empowering Black women. Hana has a background in Biology and Chemistry. She also has extensive experience supporting small businesses and helping them scale their operations through implementing processes as well as managing projects and budgets. Ashley has over 13 years in the financial services industry, specializing in managing company equity plans and ensuring IPO readiness.
